I just completed this drafting table for my son Garrett (as seen in my profile picture). More of my reclaimed oak here and the top I got from part of a plan table that I had to rework when I move my office. the top is ajustable as well as the height so as he grows he will still be able to use it. I got the basic design online

Great looking drafting table! I built one similar to that a number of years ago and still love using it, even though I don’t do any drafting.(just a nice table to work at.) Very nice.

That looks real nice; I put one of these on my list for my daughter. She’s working on her Engineering Masters degree.

Nice work. Every kid should have a drawing table like that as it encourages creativity and maybe keeps them away from the TV (or computer?).

I have been meaning to build a drafting table to do the rough sketches. Sketchup is great but sometimes the old pencil and paper just does it. You have given me some great ideas on how to start the table. thanks.

Ed I agree, I enjoy drawing up my plans too. To bad I made this for my boy it would have looked good in the shop. He told me he would share it with me.
