Started with a bunch of old pallet wood and pulled nails for days! Ended up with a custom coffee table for my daughter’s new appt. She wanted something with small drawers for all her game stuff so there are three on each side.
All made with pallet wood, and wooden runners for the drawers. Ripped 2×4’s to make the rails and framework.
Used a plan from Ana White's site then modified it to fit the kid. the site is clunky but I love the free plans to get me started. It’s a great place to get popular designs without having to reinvent the wheel.
Daughter wanted the space above the drawers and below the table top tall enough to hold a can of Mountain Dew. so the food goes in the mid shelf, the controllers and stuff in the drawers and they game on the top. I guess. IDK they don’t invite me to these gaming sessions thank goodness, but she loved it. Stained dark to match the switchback bookshelves I built earlier for her.

Magnificent for some recycling of materials. Very nicely done.
