Went out to Salvage Works here in Portland and got some free reclaimed lumber ends. We had an old ratty table with some black iron legs so I put together a new top for it piecing the scraps into a puzzle top and then re-sawing them to thickness with my table saw. I had to flip some pieces end for end since my old Crapsman only has about 2” cut depth! Glued up bit by bit to get a clean fit. Also had to hand trim some pieces to get clean joints, then cut the edges off to size and Voila! Wife loved it.

“Wife loved it.” is the most important part! Nice job!
