Project Information

I had the idea of making one of those for a year now and this is how I found lumberjocks… After searching the web for end grain piano cutting boards, I've got a hit on lumderjocks for the "Suit and tie cuttingboard" you can see his project here: http://lumberjocks.com/projects/103083 .

He then gave credits in his post to another built that you can see here: http://lumberjocks.com/projects/98256 .

I, then obviously made myself a lumberjocks profile and kept the idea at the back of my mind. I used my wife piano for inspiration (color) and I also made a video built of the whole project, with more pictures at the end of the video.

You can see the video here:

Hope you enjoy!!

When I saw this I thought of a music teacher I know. I am not sure she would ever use it though. Nice Job.

Awesome, that's incredible! Yeah, like I would ever put my knife on this. It will be on a wall somewhere instead.

Thanks for the inspiration. It's a beautiful cutting board. I came across your piece while randomly searching for a cutting board design. Thought I'd give it a try.
