My little girl’s 8th birthday was coming up…so down to the shop I go. She had recently received an American Girl doll from us as an early birthday present, so I thought a little bed for “Elizabeth” was in order. My wife said make it a trundle bed…so, knowing better, I obliged.
It’s about 18” long, by 10” high, by 8” wide, not including the trundle. My wife made the sheets and pillows. This was made of all “scrap” quartered white oak, with the exception of the trundle knobs, made from cherry. Finished with 2 coats of shellac.
Yes, she loved it. :)

Great Birthday present. I may have to steal your idea (if you don’t mind). My daughter has a trundle bed and this would be perfect.

Great idea. Take the doll out of the picture and you would think that it’s for a real person.
