This phone amplifier speaker has become a shop essential for me. It easily makes my phone 2x louder. Making it perfect for youtube or music while in the shop.

That is really pretty!

Its 4pc laminated.2 Pc of 4/4 maple with no cut outs. 2 pc of padauk have the shape of the phone cut out. The bottom pc of padauk has the sound channel cut into it. The channel starts out around 3/8ths of an inch width and daylights into the hole on the right at about 3/4 inches. The soundport hole is 3 1/4 inches wide and 2 1/4 in depth. The soundport was cut in last with a router temlate. Overall dimensions are 2.75×5.5×10.

Wow you really made that curly maple pop! What did you use to finish it?

Thanks the finish is blonde shellac but this peice of curly maple was extremely curly so I think even a varnish would have looked nice. I used the same board on a earlier project i had posted the desk clock.
