Nicely done. One of these days I will try some ebonizing. I really like the look. Did you use maple?

I like the table, very nice job. Two questions:

1. What did you use to ebonize the wood?

2. I haven’t worked with spalted maple before but I have heard it’s sometimes rather spongy and requires a stabilizing material (epoxy or something else, I don’t recall). Did you find any problems with that?

Thanks everyone, yeah nakashima inspired aka “Legacy” Yeah spalted is very sponge sometimes. If you look at the hall table the board that came from was 1/2 junk.
