Hello Brian;
I’m glad I came across some of your work and I will add that I’m sorry about being slow to respond to your unique way of making wood into wood art.
So now I’ve also been over at your blog-site and even spent some time running down your page of wood (furniture) images. I also noticed that you do one of a kind hand made furiture, while often being influenced by the style of Nakashima.
Concerning this table I like the design and the use of the spalted maple. On your website you mention the use of an ‘ultra low VOC varnish’....and might I ask what that would be concerning brand and such? One more question, I also noticed on an-other table you talk of using ‘milk paint’ on the legs, so is that what you have used here also?
Thank you.
GODSPEED,
Frank

This has a black die, sometimes I use water borne lacquers or milk paints. The brand I use is target coatings.
