Laundry Room Cabinets

This project was part of a small laundry room makeover. I painted the room, built some tall wall cabinets, a floating shelf and some a few additional fixed shelves to make some open cubbies.

The wall cabinets are made out of 3/4 birch ply with 1/2” backs. The faceframe and door rails and stiles are made out of 3/4 poplar. The door panels were 1/4” V-groove panels. The inside was finished with Minwax’s polycrylic and the outside face frame and doors were painted with Sherwin Williams ProClassic Interior Waterbased Acrylic-Alkyd Enamel. The finishes were sprayed on using a HVLP sprayer (Fuji Mini Mate 3).

They look great! Love the door panels. It really set’s it off!
