I went into the regular type job the other morning and the boss wanted a word.. Ok I thought…. what now..
“I have a wedding to attend… any chance of a cutting board… I know you are real busy…??”
Ok so I whipped one up…. finished with Mineral Oil.
From the centre..inside to outside… French walnut…New Guinea Rosewood… Silver Ash…French Walnut… Tasmanian Blackwood.. Silver Ash accent and European Wild Cherry..18” by 10” by 1”
I cut arcs on the end with the arc cutting jig..and branded the board..all is good.. and not in the 150.
Not that bad for 15 minutes work. Most of that was sanding.

I like this one very much. The color contrast is phenomenal.
I think this one deserves a raise : )

Really really nice work as usual Larry. Love the wood choices and you are obviously the man for cutting boards.

Larry, that is another nice board. I particularly like the ash and cherry combination, but that is just my personal preference. You, obviously are the resident cutter expert “on-board” here and can knock these out in your sleep!
To tell the truth I could not even get the wood sorted in 15 minutes. :) Maybe that is why my wife’s favorite comment is that “you do wonderful work but you are tooooo slow”.

Larry, another great board (like that needs to be said) All your boards are great, but Stefang and Ellen is right. Get ready for more orders. I just sent a Tumble Block cutting board to PA for a wedding present and already I’ve had about 5 request for them. (of course everyone thinks that would be a nice Christmas present) just my luck! LOL.
