Here we got a birthday box i made for my doughters fith birthday to put all the trinkets and jewlery she gets and has gotten over the short years i say that cuz it went by so fast but it was and still is great being a dad this is the second the first was just one she can play with no big deal just pine and 1/8” hardboard this one here is made from more wood from pallets at my job hey as u can see the wood comes out real nice after u mill it and put a finnish on it also added some gaboon ebony as a contrasting wood the bottom is ply with a piece of veneer dont know the type though it looks great on the box top is also another wood type unknown.

That wood cleaned up very nicely! I really like the way you did the splines, not just the contrast, but also the angles and different lengths. Well done, I’m sure she loves it.
