I made these out of Baltic birth ply, and made a bunch to give out as Christmas gifts.
Using some of the techniques I learned here on LJ and youtube, I drew plan, glued it to a couple pieces of ply and cut it out on the band saw. After finishing up the prototype (see photo with the phone), I used it as a routing template to make the rest. Got a chance to try out different finishes. Boil Linseed Oil, Tung Oil, and Danish Oil (walnut) on the ones above.

Overall its a great fun project good for making in batches so you have them on hand for various gift giving times..

Features:

: These are collapsible, you can pull out the center piece.
: Cord slots in the back, bottom, and right beneath the phone.
: Large – fits Samsung Notes and large iphones
: Flat pack for easy shipment to your distant love ones.
