Thank you VERY much Dennis. I really love making these clocks. I just hope I can get more sold and actually make a little money at this. If you have any ideas don’t be shy.You can throw them my way! You take care and have a great Xmas!!!!

Kathy Here is one thing I do. I take a period of time and draw out my ideas. These clocks will only fit one buyer, but if you have 12 different styles your chances are better. All of my woodworking has gone through an evolution. So step one is product development. Then comes marketing. Local craft/furniture stores have been a big help to me. I also have been to some arts and craft shows to see what is working for others. Locally the woodworkers tend to have lots of small items like your clocks. (Boxs, pens, picture frames, ect) You might try putting your scroll work on a box, or doing a frame for a mirror.
Most of all don’t let it become work it should be fun and challenging! Enjoy your Christmas!

Hi Dennis, I have about 20 different styles. I have some of them for sale at http://www.craftmall.com/clocksbykathy.html and http:www.clocksbykathy.com but it is still very hard to get one sold. I am not very good at marketing. I don’t even like the word!
I do like the box idea. I don’t know if I can do a mirror.
