I started by cuting the curve that the top of the box. Then I cut off the back. Cut the drawers out. I made a mistake with out of them and ended up having to make a new drawer. I still needs sanded and stand in the picture. I sugest that you use a small blade it will make things alot easier. It was really fun to make but I wish I had more time to put in to it…I felt that since it was in a class with many people I was always compermissing because the thing I need was always being used and the dead line was due. Take you time and used what is need not what might work.

Cherrywood23, I think your box turned out great. I just posted on your forum on how I do bandsaw boxes. Hope you get a chance to do another one. I’ve taught classes before on doing bandsaw boxes and I know how hard it is for everyone waiting to use one or two pieces of equipment or waiting for help. I still think you did a great job and thanks for sharing your project. Feel free to ask any questions here on LJ’s. There’s a lot of talented woodworkers that will be glad to help.
