These are gorgeous pieces. Normally I have only seen corbels this size as glue-ups. If these are glue-ups I don’t seen any glue lines in the pictures. Get some pictures, if you are able, of the project when the installation is complete.

I was looking at them and wondering where they were destined for. Hope you post a picture of them mounted. If you have a good supply of that oak I’ll bet many folks would love some for a fireplace mantles. Just a good piece of oak along with those corbels would make a classy mantle – even a good one with some of the bark left on and of course a great finish would also work in the right setting. Great job!

Thanks for the comments . Sold an oak mantel with corbels 5 minutes ago as a result of clients eying those corbels in the shop . People like big wood , it sells itself.
