This is a great Idea. I’m redoing a bathroom Right now and I think I’m going to use you idea.

You can’t see the hardware in the photos but there are 4 drawer glides used to perform this operation. One at the top and bottom of the box and two on the back. This eliminates travel and sagging problems.
