I know this is a little repetetive but cops wear blue and blue signifies the job. This is the second of 2 boxes based on an idea brought up in one of the Forum boards.
The wood here is Blue Mahoe which apparently is the national tree of Jamaica. I used trans-tint blue dye to get the color I was looking for. The box is a pretty simple band saw box and is 5 1/2” tall, 5” wide, and 5” deep. The drawer is flocked in, you guessed it, navy BLUE fibers.
The mini-badge is one I have had around for a while and decided to place on the top of a couple of boxes to see how it looks. The pull is of brushed pewter.
Thanks for taking a look!

The color is excellent.
I like the transtint stains, you get the color and fully see the grain.
