This is another cute lamp i have made recently. Red Ceder! Hard to turn, but I just love the texture of this beautiful wood!
I was thinking to make a shade out of wood, but it would take so much time and I’m not sure if it is worth it.

I was looking for some stuff in the basement and i run into this old glass lamp shade…I was thinking what can i do with it and….here we go!
I cleaned it up and took it apart; then on the glass surface I glued down African Mahagony veneer.

I guess it is “shade resurrected” :)

Great lamp. Love the shade, what did you use for glue? How does it stand up to heat? Do you have to use a low watt bulb/compact halogen?

“shade resurrected”??? auggh, lol

Great lamp. Love the shape and shade. Great re-use of an old item. GO GREEN!

Keep up the imaginative work.
