It’s been a while again since I’ve had any production. I’m hoping to change that soon. Anyhoo, A nephew asked me a few weeks ago if I could make him a tray similar to the one that he had seen for sale somewhere out there in cyberspace. He sent me a pic of it, so, I had a bit of time on hand, finally, and got him fixed up. I’ll be dropping it in the mail to him in the next day or so. It is about 7”x5 1/5”x1” and made of walnut and oak “scraps/cut-offs”, and finished with 3 coats of Minwax Polyacrylic. I think he’ll like it. I do. I did want to mention the “whoops” above in pic #6. I was able to straighten it out by making the pattern just a hair larger, and I actually liked the dish being a bit bigger. Thnx for the looks, and any good/bad/ugly, well, you know the drill.

Nicely done Roger, your nephew discovered a great idea.
Please don’t take this wrong, but my wife, as she was just walking by, gave the computer screen a brief glance and said “What is that, a toilet seat?” I had to laugh and told her the design would probably make a cool one. I told her it was a tray, so she looked at it more closely then and liked it too :-)
