40 years ago, I built my first piece of furniture, a maple hutch, with very similar lines. It was a gift to my wife.
She still treasures and uses the piece. You, too, have created an heirloom!

Very nice. What a great house warming gift. The split panel really works, the middle does not look boring. It looks as good as the top and bottom.
