Ultimate Router Station

The center router table was made using Norm Abrams’ router table plan. I revised it slightly to suit me. The outer tables were created to organize my tools and supplies. I stole the idea of using different woods for the faces from my wife, who made a wall-hanging by gluing different scraps together. All of the faces were taken from scraps of older projects: walnut, QS oak, maple, and a scrap of aromatic cedar. The router is Porter Cable 3hp model. The lift is Woodpecker’s V2. The fence is Woodpecker’s Super Fence. This setup is totally awesome. It was the first time that I used contact cement to hold down the Formica. It was easy and it came out beautifully.

I don’t have enough router stuff to fill all of those drawers. If I built that glorious router station I would have to expand my router accessories by 10X…....hmmmmmmmm????

It’s realy work of art. Too bad it’s a maschine table instead some piece of living room cabinet. Looks awesome and clean work and finish ’’touches’’.

Damn that is nice. If I built something like that, the other tools in my shop would go on strike.

That’s too nice for a shop station…you might have to start routing in the living room :)
Excellent work!

At first sight, I thought it was an entertainment center! I guess it would be for me! Very nicely done.

This is the 4th time I’ve looked at this router station and it looks better each time. I see someone woke up and placed it in the top 3 – so deserving
Congratulations !!!
