This was the first full project in my new workshop and a late christmas gift for my wife. Built from cherry on a ash stand, the finish is tung oil and bees wax.

Paul,

Looks quite unique. As always you did an outstanding job. This piece is different? although on a stand it appears more contemporary? How did you come to make this piece? An inquiring mind wants to know. LOL!

Thanks all, Doc the stand design has been slowly evolving, i really like the dark wood sleeper idea that the case rests on, the first inspiration for this design was from John Hein who makes some beautiful cabinets
