This was our Wedding gift made by my Father. This tradition started with his father making these clocks for his children as wedding gifts. My father and has continued the tradition for his 3 children. As most of us on here know, these are kits that are definitely for the advanced woodworker. We love this thing; it is now 15 yrs old.

Beautiful Clock!

Made one like this for my father many years ago. My Mom winds it every Saturday night.

Wow! This is a great addition to a house. Well done. Some day, maybe, I’ll be able to build one. Hope it’ll be as nice as yours. I need to practice, practice and practice a bit more. I’m keeping a picture of it.

What a great tradition. When are your kids getting married?

You should start planning now.

That’s a beautiful clock Ken, and even more special because your dad made it.

I luv the grandfather clock. Your father did a fantastic job of it. From looking at the rest of your postings I would say that you are a chip off the old block. Very nice work…. all the best
