I have to do a demo on cabinet scraper sharpening at the store today. I didn’t want to just stack em up, and put them in a bag. So I did this using some scrap Ambrosia Maple I resawed. Laquer finish. Each scraper has it’s own dadoed slott, helps keep em sharp. Those are mini dovetails. Used my new mini jig for my Porter Cable 4212. Yea there’s a slight gap front left corner. I geuss I can’t be perfect all the time. LOL

Yes indeed, a very nice case. Like, going to the office… pick up the case to go out and do some cabinet scraping… ? Do you make house calls by any chance?
Gap? What gap? You really don’t make mistakes… you design in a little flaw here and there so as to authenticate the case as being handmade thus giving rise to heirloom quality?

Have scraper, will travel. Nice box, nice wood, nice work. Darn! I thought I had the market cornered on imperfect work.
