This is a carving of a Bald eagle and salmon. It was carved form a solid poplar log, also retrieved from a local golf coarse. The majority of the carving was done with a chainsaw, and the final details were finished with a foredom.

Beautiful amazing carving. I admire these a lot. A neighbor done a similar one a few years ago and it is seeing its age now. Is there any special finish to use to keep it looking good?
