My wife is doing a lot of watercolor painting lately. I’m a big fan of Stickley, Arts and Crafts, and Mission style furniture, so I came up with this design for a picture frame for one of her watercolors. It’s Mahogany with Walnut pyramid buttons. It features through tenons. The finish is Sam Maloof poly / oil.

I am not viewing these in order. You have been a busy guy. This is VERY nice. My wife is an artist as well. I am usually making quite pedestrian frames for her things. Most go to the gallery. If they hang them they put them in their own frames.

Thanks Jim, I’m making three of these, I am mostly finished with a much larger one made of Oak. I’ll try to get the picture matted and into the frame before I post again.
