My Daughter’s best friend was planning a wedding in the woods and asked me if I could make a tree swing for the party.
Her whole theme was a very hand made natural style. So I acquired a large limb that had broken from a big Modesto Ash in my neighborhood,
After cutting it down the middle with my chain saw and a lot of planing, belt sanding and learning how to splice rope,
I came up with a pretty nice 2 person swing.

Materials: White ash log & 3/4” hemp rope.
Dimensions: About 38” wide X 18” across.
(FYI the people in the photos are not the bride and groom. they are my son and daughter.)
Thanks for looking.

I was gonna say that the boy in the first pic looks WAY too young to be getting married. Glad you cleared that up !

Nice swing !

LOL yes I thought that might happen. Thats why I mentioned it. I haven’t been able to obtain any photos of the bride and groom on it yet.
Thanks,
RT
