I made this frame for a picture we had drawn of the kids this summer. The frame is maple with some walnut dowels I made. It is finished with paste wax. The picture was drawn by a lady at Stanley Park in Vancouver, she charged us $35. I thought she did a great job. The picture now hangs in the dining room. Thanks for looking, critiques are welcome.

Any project that involves our own children is always a good one. The picture and frame will mean more to you and your wife as the years go by. I like the nice simple design.

Nice and simple. It’s nice when the dowels show through.
