Had this little slab a friend gave me, decided to make this, wife doesn’t like it so not sure what I’m gonna do with it. I just winged it with no real idea what I was making, it’s not very long which makes it feel unstable. It is put together with glue and dowels and finished with boiled linseed oil. No money in it and just a couple hours of fun in my garage. That’s probably where it will stay, I’m still learning.

How in the world can you wife not like it! That is beautiful. Tell you what, I’ve got a place for it here adjacent to my front door. I’d be happy to take it off your hands.

She said it’s too small, she told me to stop building stuff just because I want to and start creating with a purpose, probably right but I think my creative side wants to just get started on a project and see where it leads me?

I think you did a great job on this table. Just how small is it?

Thank you, first one I’ve built, it measures 33” long, 37” tall, 16” deep at its widest and 19” outside of legs, I guess that’s why it’s seems flimsy? No plans ever on my stuff which is few and that’s how I want it. Just go with it and I know that will get me in trouble sometimes but each item I build will be unique I hope.

If it seems flimsy/wobbly, add a stretcher between the legs. Looks like a great entry hall table to me.
