Been trying to get something done in the shop the last two weekends. Overtime on job, lack of sleep, cold weather, cold shop, was hindrances to accomplishing anything. My shop orders were racking up, so something had to break loose. Made 4 bolt action pens, 3 sold, one for me. Two out of Turkish Walnut (really nice), one out of Camo Colorwood, and one from Beehive Narra. Sprayed all things seen here in High Gloss Conversion Varnish, rock hard, and very smooth. Looked like they were finished in water.
Made 4, 50 caliber pens, 1 as an order, been selling few of these. Fun to make. One in Red and Black Colorwood, Black and White Ebony, Zebrawood, and a new color and new vendor of laminated woods, Spectraply woods. Since Rutland wood burnt down, been looking for a good vendor. Spectraply will do.
Hairsticks, Neon green and Mexican Bocote wood, one of black Colorwood, and Holly wood double ended stick, Snakewood and Olivewood hairstick. Tulipwood and Spectraply wood, Desert Colorwood, and purple, blue, neon green Colorwood teardrop hairstick.
