This beautiful piece is 18 inches tall an 11 inches wide across the wings. It was made out of laminated spruce and in hand she holds a horn and lilies. Both are symbolic. It was started off with a chainsaw to shape the angel and finished the fine details with a foredoom.

I like it very nice. Did you take any in progress pics. If so, I’d love to see those. And it appears a Welcome to Lumberjocks is in order.

lovely carving & wood choice (the grain makes for nice feathers) – ditto for Mustang’s comment for progress pics & welcome!!!
