Very nice, I like the openings you cut in top of box for fingers and such.

Thank y’all. It was for both fingers and aesthetics. Cause I used rock lets torsion hinges so you actually have to push the lid closed. They are pricey but not as pricey as a trip to the er to get the tips of his fingers sewn back on.

A beautiful job! I must commend you on your choice of hinges and no latches. I went thru a Deputy medical examiner training years ago and a case was brought up of a child who had been inside a toy box that latched closed. The child couldn’t get out and suffocated. You made a very wise decision!

Well I am a paramedic that works in a pediatric er also so that had some of my reasoning behind it lol.
