Mission drawer knobs.

They seem simple, right? I could have bought them. Instead, I searched for days on the internet and in my woodworking magazine library for a quick way to make them. Finally stumbled on a video in YouTube by searching for “pyramids” Thank you Apprentice and the Journeyman -

2 simple jigs and a few hours in the shop later – I feel so much better.

I only needed 2, I think I’ll make at least 50 now.

Might have taken a while but you got there. Lot to be said for persistence.

It’s cool. The beginning is. Now it is necessary to make 5 and 6 sides. It will be original.

Nice design, I am in need of a 4 drawer knobs like that, I found the video on the pyramid top but not of the lower section. Would you mind elaborating how you did that bit?

The bottom sections I did on the router and table saw. I use a core box router bit and routed each side a little bit at a time until it looked about right. Then the foot part I cut on the table saw, eyeballing the depth, finally took it back to the bandsaw and cut it off.

I did use a longer piece of stock and fashioned both ends at the same time so they would be alike. I hope this helps, let me know if you need more info.

I made mine by using a forstner bit, table saw and band saw.
