This is another live edge maple burl top that I built a box around. I found this maple out Portland, just a small shop along the road. The base is walnut, the splines maple. These are fun boxes to build as the angles are a real challenge. Bottom is 1/4” bb, routed groove, with felt liner. The finish is satin rattle can lacquer, and wax.Thanks.

Same as above and I like the hinge and the way it extends over the back to act as a stop. This would work great for a box a friend wants me to make.

I’m really enjoying these live-edge boxes of yours! You’re really getting the hang of them!
