New door handles , not much choice on the market to buy . Made these out of some PADAUK exotic very red color wood . Yes, they do feel better on 4×8 double insulated heavy * doors . Hit em with couple costs of teak oil, I will wait a couple days and hit them with the teak oil/minwax poly mix . Will edit in a few days with better pics , I mean this wood is real red. In response to the question , To attach , as seen in the one pic , there is a small slot I had to dado in for bracket and SS Screws.

PS… News Flash …they feel great compared to those sticks that were on there for so long , and they were upgrades from the stock ones . Just really
Not any substantial ones out there, for heavy sliders . Happy New Year , Woodwackers

Very nice looking handles. How does your fasten to your door? Mine use a bolt through the handle into a threaded hole in the door frame.
