This is my first major woodworking project and ended up being a lot more work than I anticipated. Took about three months from start to finish as I only had a few hours each weekend to work on it. I learned a lot though (and received some helpful advice from lumberjock members with the crown molding issue I had) and look forward to the next project (which will probably be a while now that my daughter is here).

Very nice! I love the way that you dealt with the ceiling for the top shelf.

I assume you had an issue with the crown and the slop, would love to hear how you dealt with that. Great job!

I originally intended to face everything with 1/2” mdf. But, when I went to pick up the lumber they were all out so I ended up using 3/4” mdf…. It is very sturdy to say the least.
