Ambrosia Maple Yarn Bowl

This wooden yarn bowl was turned from Ambrosia Maple. This piece was sprayed with 3 coats of clear Lacquer, then polished using Beal system to a very nice luster.
Approximate Dimensions:
Diameter at the top 5.0 in
Diameter at the base 3.0 in
Largest Diameter 6.0 in
Height 5.0 in

Nice! I made a yarn bowl that would hold two balls of yarn, but I like your idea better, of one bowl for one ball of yarn. Neat idea and I bet the knitter in your life will appreciate it.

I have an order for one of these. Must be all over Pinterest.

My order is for a 10” bowl for large yarn balls. Funny thing is…. this will be my first bowl to turn.

Nothing like jumping right on into the fire!!!

Beautiful bowl and beautiful wood grain. Besides your turning skills mother nature made realy amaizing work here.
