Fall Leaf Frame - Intarsia

I made this fall leaf frame for my wife’s birthday last week. The pattern is from Kathy Wise, Scroll Saw WorkShop magazine, fall 2005.

The wood is walnut, bloodwood, and yellowheart. Finished with Old Masters gel varnish, clear satin.

When I gave my wife the frame, she said that she hoped that I would make the frame for her someday. She seen the frame in my magazine and liked it and never told me.

Fantastic frame. Great scroll work. Love all trhe different colors.

What a great way to score points! Didn’t know you could read your wifes mind did you?
