My second attempt at a box with no nails or screws except for hardware, started this one while finishing oak one I posted earlier. All lumber free-scraps from a friend and held together with only dowel’s and glue. Hinges where made for me by a forge in Michigan, I think he did a great job, the cedar boxes can be stacked as well as Sitting separately . This is a gift to my nephew, hope he likes it. Question, why are some of my pics sideways??

I like those dovel joints – looking good with dark walnut board. Metal parts look great too.
