The challenge for this project, was to hang a 6ft dragon off a wall in a stair case. Its base if made out of laminations of spruce wood. The total length of the dragon is 6ft long and has a wing span of 4ft wide. So far so good. Next to do are the scales and finishing touches to the master piece.

After all the details were finally completed, the dragon was stained with min wax wood stain. Now all that’s left to do is hang it up on the wall.

Absolutely amazing! Is this done with hand tools or do you use a dremel of sorts?

This is amazing. Would love to see pictures of the laminations in progress if you would be willing to share.

Can’t wait to see the final piece.

Beautiful! Please be sure to post photos of the finished (and installed) piece. If the unfinished version looks this good I can’t wait to see the final result.

This is really cool work. I would love to learn what tools and technique you used on this project.
