Another little project I forgot about and would like to share.
I’d seen something like this somewhere, but I’ll be darned if I could remember where. I’d been wanting to build it, but had only my memory for a reference.
When someone finally requested a step stool like this, I sat down and figured out a way to build it.
Pretty simple; one-piece back, tread is dovetailed to back and front, aprons are pocket-hole screwed.
If I build another, I’d like to join the aprons with through mortise-and-tenons.
White oak; oil-based poly thinned 2/3 to 1/3 mineral spirits and ragged on.
