Tired Birdhouse

Project by Shrub posted 67 days ago 238 views 3 times favorited 8 comments Add to Favorites Watch

Except for the maple front, all the wood on this birdhouse came from an old shipping pallet. The retread tire roof was found on the side of the road last weekend. The perch is a tire valve stem. Copper side pins twist out to allow front to open.

Yet another totally original piece. Personally, I only have one new idea once every ten years, but you seem to have them all the time. Is it the food? Nice work.

Go for it jeffl. A few suggestions:

Use one without steel belts – major pain to cut
Rotating may increase your mileage
Post a picture of it so we can see it.

Thanks to everybody for the comments
