I was Honored to have been able to carve our brother Mike’s urn after he passed away from his fight with cancer at 45 years old (young). I carved the things he loved…blue was his favorite color, airplanes and his love for his horses, also the 2 medals our nephew wanted on the urn for Mike. I designed all his favorites to be with him forever…and added the little note on the top that we won’t forget what a wonderful person he was in life to anyone that knew Mike. My husband, Darryl made the box from oak and I had him add the blackwalnut to add a special touch to the box besides what I had carved.

Our sister Barb, had the plaque made for the urn. That was the hardest package I have every opened. Seeing Mike’s name and all while fitting it to the front..ahh memories and sadness everytime! But when I finally put it on for good..I stood back…and felt ahhh yup Mike…your going to have a beautiful resting place. Thanks again fro the nice comments!
