I used Blue Pine, Sycamore Sapwood (lighter), Sycamore Heartwood (darker), Mahogany, Aromatic Red Cedar, Basswood, Butternut, and Ebony. There are some long thin pieces to create the shading on the dock they were challenging but fun.

Outstanding choice of different woods. It makes it more realistic. Those birds not just stand on dock – I see motion in this picture-good work.
