I built this for our new family room/guest suite. I converted the attached two stall garage into a family room bedroom and bathroom. The unit is oak with birch drawers.

Roy, this is a nice entertainment center that adds both storage and a nice piece of furniture to your home.

How did you finish it?

I stained it w/ minwax 4 parts golden oak 1 part gunstock, then wiped on a quick coat of gunstock, then sprayed it with poly, that ended up matching the Mohawk butterscotch oak flooring. BTW, I used flooring for the top of the cabinets.

Nice unit. Deep drawers must hold a ton of stuff. Once they are full don’t go looking for something at the bottom. I like the flooring on the top also.

Nice entertainment center and nice addition Roy. I like the new color on the house a lot more too.
