YACB - Yet Another Cherry Box

Sorry about the less than stellar picture quality. Somehow the charger for the camera battery mysteriously disappeared…

It’s a box. I listened to some good advice I got from the first box I made and tried to keep the sides thick enough to give it some substance, but no thicker.

I spent some time thinking about the grain on this project, a first for me. The box is made (with the exception of the base) from a single board, and the grain wraps all the way around the box. Getting the lid to look right was tough as well, but I”m happy with the way the sapwood runs through.
