Maple and walnut yarn bowl

No lathe yarn bowl made from maple and walnut. I used an angle grinder attachment to hog out the inside of the bowl.

I like the design and finish but I’ll stick to the lathe, that must have been a lot of work making it symmetrical.

Beautiful bowl, MK! Did you carve the inside, or outside, first? How big is it and what finish did you uses? Thanks for sharing.

You got some serious talent with an angle grinder. That bowl came out amazing.
