I built this Tardis jewelry box for my daughter in law, as a Christmas gift. It is made from Baltic birch plywood with some poplar for the base and part of the top.

It’s about 19 inches tall from the base to the top of the light. It has 6 drawers, 8 hooks to hang necklaces (4 on each side), and the top comes off for a top compartment. The base is 12½ by 11½ inches.

From start to finish it took about 2 months. After work and weekends. I didn’t start out with any plans So I tested out ideas with scrap plywood. I tried out about 6 different router pattern jigs, before I got one to suit me, just for routing out the panels.

Doctor WHO would be proud, you did a great job on this
