This was my first time building a piece of furniture out of solid hardwood, so it has it imperfections but I was very happy with the end result.

The shell is built entirely out of solid american walnut. I also built the drawer face out of walnut and incorporated a knot void as the pull handle.

All the shelves on the inside are made out of cedar to give it a little bit of a contrast.

The wine bottle holders on the inside are made out of reclaimed oak barn wood 2x’s. I drilled 1 1/4” holes with a forstner bit to get the neck holes.

Very nice and functional piece of furniture. It would be a great addition to any home.
