This is the desk I built back in Jan. just got around to taking pic’s. I posted pics a while back of the pantry I built to match it.
all maple, brown stain, black glaze, satin lacquer.
I used k.v. soft close full extension slides on all drawers, the drawers are 12mm china birch plywood
hinges are blum cup hinges with soft close
Laminate top
raised panel doors made on table saw, one day Im gonna buy a router bit to raise the pannels but hey I am cheap.
fun project, lol, Im right in the middle of a desk for my son now, cypress cause he likes cypress and Ive got some just laying around.

Nice. I’m anxious to see how the cypress one turns out.

That came out very nice!
What kind of stain did you use?
The top sets it off nicely as well.

Good job !

Beautiful desk, love the job you did on the maple finish. The top goes well with it also. Nice build.

Great desk! If you’ve got some extra laying around, I’ve got a desk that needs replacing!! ; )

thanks all for the nice comments,
Eric, the stain was a custom mix at Sherwood-Williams, the man mixed it till it got to the shade of brown I wanted.

Great desk. Like the way you organized the electronics.
